Dear Parents of Students in Grades 4-8,
As you all know we are closed for two weeks, but we are not closed academically. We wanted to take this opportunity to inform you of what your child’s responsibilities will be. Although the children were informed on Friday, we would like to share this information with you as well.
The following is a daily schedule that we would like the students to adhere to as best as possible. It is important to maintain a routine, but don’t forget to take short breaks, pray and exercise. Expect that all assignments be posted daily by 10am. Be sure to give yourself enough time to wake, pray, and have breakfast before you log on. Please make sure you submit all your work to your teachers by the requested times to give the teachers the opportunity to review all work. All assignments will come with instruction on how to be turned in to your teacher and whether or not the assignment will be graded. Please be diligent and check BOTH Google classroom and your class webpage at srsny.org daily.
Students in grades 6-8 already have been using Google classroom so they are all set. Students in 4th and 5th grade have been given codes for Google classroom on Friday. Please make sure they are activating their classes at google.classroom.com.

If there are any questions don’t hesitate to email your child’s teacher. We will be monitoring our emails daily and will respond as quickly as possible. We’re all in this together.
God bless and stay healthy and safe.

During the Lenten season, Fifth Grade is learning about the Stations of the Cross by creating a book depicting each station and attending the Stations of the Cross in addition to attending weekly Mass and Adoration.
Our fifth graders work to be examples for the rest of the school of how to treat others with kindness and live as Jesus did.
